- GAC will only ask sector for review if it receives an average score of >2.5
- "Score of 1 Triaging" will be done by GAC Chair to facilitate efficient review of applications. Chair Note: via Action pulldown, unassign GAC Reader via "Remove assignment". Beth officially marks later as "Probable Reject" via "Add tag" DI&I reviewer will be assigned as an additional read for self-identified women and URM candidates.
GAC 2021-2022 Schedule
- December 15, 2021: Grad applications website closes
- December 1, 2021 - January 14, 2022 - GAC Folder Reading begins (faculty review begins as soon as possible after this, as GAC reads are completed and I’m able to assign and pass along folders)
- January 14, 2022: All folders have two GAC reads (plus additional DI&I reading where necessary)
- January 18th, 2022, 12:00-1:30pm: GAC Review Meeting
- February 1, 2022: All faculty reviews completed
- February 3-11, 2022: Sector Admissions Meetings
- Beginning week of Feb 21, 2022: Students notified of admissions decisions - all decisions sent by March 1, 2022
- March 11, 2022: Open house
- April 15, 2022: Graduate Reply Deadline
- May 27, 2022: Wait List is released
- All official decisions from the department will not be sent until end of February
